RYUL
LNGSHOT · Main Rapper · Songwriter
Profile
RYUL (Kim Ryul), born in Busan, is LNGSHOT’s main rapper. His delivery and interest in the foundations of hip-hop help define the quartet’s musical direction, alongside the singing and writing roles taken by his bandmates.
RYUL appeared in the rap competition RAP:PUBLIC in 2024 and trained for several years before his 2026 debut under MORE VISION. Interviews with the group highlight Jay Park’s advice about rap tone, pronunciation and developing an individual sound.
The March 2026 Training Day EP contains For Us, a solo recording credited to RYUL of LNGSHOT. As with the other members’ songs on that EP, this is an individual track issued in the group’s project rather than a standalone solo album.
He has also contributed to the group’s collaborative releases and live activities, including 4SHOVILLE and performances in several countries during the group’s first year.
