For TEMPEST, October has become a month of important changes. The six-member group will conclude its joint activities, YH Entertainment announced on October 20, following what the agency described as careful discussions with the artists. Their next chapter will focus on individual careers rather than a shared promotional schedule.
The agency’s announcement
The choice of words is important. While some international coverage has used the term “disbandment,” YH Entertainment’s official statement says that group activities will conclude. The notice does not provide a date for a final concert, a later reunion or future group recordings, so none of those possibilities should be represented as confirmed.
HYUK and LEW: key dates
HYUK is scheduled to enlist for mandatory military service on October 26. The agency said there would be no public enlistment event and asked fans not to visit the location out of consideration for other recruits and their families.
LEW’s exclusive agreement with YH Entertainment will end on November 1, 2026. The agency thanked him for his contribution and asked supporters to continue encouraging him as he chooses his next steps. There is no announced date for a solo release or another agency partnership.
The remaining four members
YH Entertainment plans to support HANBIN, HYEONGSEOP, EUNCHAN and TAERAE with individual activities. That pledge should not be mistaken for a detailed release calendar; the company did not announce separate debut schedules in this statement.
The notice marks a major transition for listeners who have followed TEMPEST’s music and performances. For now, it is more useful to recognize what is confirmed and allow the artists room to disclose their own plans than to make assumptions about the group’s future.
