MAYA works across rap and vocals in XG. She is part of the group’s rap collaborations while also contributing to its melodic material, a combination that makes a single rigid position label less useful than listening across several releases.

Her performance partnership with HARVEY appears in XG’s rap projects. In interviews, MAYA has also discussed the group’s willingness to experiment with styling and performance ideas during its first world tour. Those comments reflect an artist interested in how music, movement and presentation work together, rather than treating each element as a separate part of the job.
