HYBE CINE FEST 2026 Brings BTS Live Viewings and More K-Pop Concerts to Cinemas

For fans who cannot make a long journey to an arena, the cinema may offer another way to share a concert moment. HYBE CINE FEST 2026 is scheduled for October 24–31, with a programme combining real-time concert screenings, previously recorded concert films and participatory music-video sessions in cinemas around the world.

The line-up includes live cinema viewings of BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ dates in Buenos Aires on October 24 and São Paulo on October 30. Other titles cover SEVENTEEN’s ‘NEW_’, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s ‘ACT : TOMORROW’ and ENHYPEN’s ‘BLOOD SAGA’. The official festival website lists these artists as part of the programme, while the San Francisco Chronicle reported the week’s plans on October 17.

BTS’s South American shows go to the cinema

A live viewing and a cinema concert film are different experiences. Live viewing means cinema audiences can watch a performance taking place elsewhere at the same time, subject to the local schedule and transmission conditions. The BTS dates connect participating cinemas to the group’s South American tour dates. The festival’s other concert titles allow fans to revisit major performances in a cinema setting.

The event has an international footprint, but availability is not identical in every country or city. Local cinema chains will determine the titles and showtimes they offer. The participating-territories and booking details on the official festival website are therefore more useful than assuming every film will appear at every cinema.

Cheering sessions and interactive cinema spaces

The organiser is also promoting HYBE Cheering Party screenings. Fans can sing along with large-screen music videos by groups including BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE and CORTIS. Selected “Location Plus” cinemas may add photo spots, merchandise and other activities, subject to location-specific arrangements.

These additions are not a replacement for ordinary screening information. Fans should confirm their exact cinema, local start time and ticket details. Where a screening occurs on a different local calendar date, the local theatre listing is the authority for entry.

Why the format matters

A cinema festival can bring several fan communities into one venue over a week. It also lets viewers choose between a shared live moment and a concert film that has already been edited for the screen. The best experience depends on what an audience wants: live-event uncertainty, a polished concert document, or a participatory cheering session with other fans.

For KWaveScope’s A–Z catalogue, this is one event with relevance to multiple artists—not separate claims that the groups have announced new albums or live performances at the cinema venue. The festival begins on October 24; its screenings are upcoming as of this October 17 report.
