Profile
HUI (Lee Hoe-taek) is PENTAGON’s leader, vocalist, producer and songwriter. His composition and vocal work helped define the group’s sound and also extended to outside projects.
He launched his formally credited solo EP WHU IS ME : Complex on January 16, 2024, led by Hmm BOP. Additional digital singles followed, including Easy dance with Kwon Eunbi. These releases belong to HUI as a solo artist, distinct from PENTAGON albums and song-production credits.
The 2026 PENTAGON seven-member reunion reconnected him with the group for Coward and the 101010 tour. Shared PENTAGON awards are reported at group level rather than as solo prizes.
