Profile
XG is a seven-member Japanese artist group under XGALX, bringing rap, R&B and performance together under the name X-POP. The members are JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA and COCONA. They debuted with “Tippy Toes” on March 18, 2022, and built an international audience through English-language music and distinctive visual concepts.
The appeal of XG lies in the contrast between its rap line and melodic passages. “SHOOTING STAR” and “LEFT RIGHT” offer an accessible introduction to that balance, while “WOKE UP” puts the entire group into a rap-focused setting. Their videos are also a substantial part of the experience, with choreography, styling and recurring science-fiction imagery contributing to a recognisable identity.
The first full-length album, THE CORE – 核, arrived on January 23, 2026. Its track list brings together “GALA,” “HYPNOTIZE” and “O.R.B (Obviously Reads Bro),” extending the group’s catalogue beyond its earlier mini-albums. The O.R.B video followed in August, presenting a more relaxed picture of the members together in Los Angeles.
As of October 17, 2026, the next single, “DEPENDS,” is scheduled for November 6, with “S.A.D” also announced for its US CD release. This is an upcoming release, separate from the official videos already available below. JURIN also records as JURIN ASAYA; her solo debut is linked from her individual profile.
