82MAJOR is a six-member South Korean boy group under Great M Entertainment. The members are NAM SEONG MO, PARK SEOK JOON, YOON YE CHAN, CHO SEONG IL, HWANG SEONG BIN and KIM DO GYUN. They officially debuted on October 11, 2023, with the single album ON, following the introduction of Sure Thing earlier that month.

Their name combines South Korea’s international calling code, 82, with MAJOR, expressing their ambition to take their music beyond Korea. Their fandom is called 82DE. The group uses the members’ full Korean names as artist names, giving each performer a clear individual identity within the team.

Hip-hop is central to 82MAJOR’s sound, but the members continue to explore different moods and genres. Their performances bring rap, singing and choreography together, while their music videos give each release a distinct visual story. For listeners discovering the group, Choke, Stuck, Sign and Like Fire offer different entry points into their catalogue.

All six members contribute to the group’s music. CHO SEONG IL leads the team and works as a main dancer, while KIM DO GYUN is the main vocalist and youngest member. NAM SEONG MO, PARK SEOK JOON and HWANG SEONG BIN contribute their rap styles, and YOON YE CHAN works across performance and songwriting.

Creative participation became especially prominent on FEELM in 2026. YE CHAN discussed contributing to every track, and the members described exchanging ideas throughout the recording process. The restrained mood of Sign presented a different side of the group, while W.T.F. incorporated jazz influences and YESSIR! drew on the energy of live performance.

HEAT continued that development later in 2026. Like Fire extends the emotional direction of Sign, while wyd? presents a more relaxed atmosphere. SEONG MO, SEOK JOON and YE CHAN worked together on wyd?, with SEONG IL creating its chorus choreography. The album also includes a Spanish version of TROPHY.

Live performance remains part of how the group develops its music and connects with 82DE. Their 2026 activities included the BEBEOM : BE THE TIGER tour, Japan Zepp concerts and their first European tour. In interviews, the members described audiences singing along overseas as a source of motivation, while continuing to explore new sounds together.
