TREASURE will perform “SHOCK” on Korean music shows for the first time this weekend, giving fans their first complete look at the song’s choreography. YG Entertainment has confirmed appearances on MBC’s Show! Music Core on Saturday, November 7, and SBS’s Inkigayo on Sunday, November 8.

TREASURE released “SHOCK” on November 2, introducing its harder-edged sound through an official music video and a performance on YouTube’s It’s Live. This weekend’s broadcasts will give fans their first uninterrupted look at the complete choreography.

YG Entertainment has confirmed both appearances. Saturday’s Show! Music Core broadcast will mark the song’s music-show debut, followed by a second performance on Inkigayo the next day.

YG highlighted three elements of the upcoming stages: dynamic point moves, tightly synchronized group dancing and the use of handheld microphones during live vocal sections. Those details fit the group’s reputation for energetic performances, but the complete routine has yet to be shown on television.

The music video emphasizes the song’s impact through quick cuts and changing camera angles. On a music-show stage, viewers can follow the members’ formations and transitions, including the details that may be easy to miss in the video.

‘SHOCK’ reaches No. 1 on iTunes in 11 regions

The scheduled stages come after a strong first week for the single. According to YG, “SHOCK” has reached No. 1 on iTunes song charts in 11 regions. It also topped QQ Music’s daily digital-singles chart in China and AWA’s New Songs Top 100 in Japan.

Earlier reports counted ten iTunes markets. YG’s November 6 update increased that cumulative total to 11. The figure refers to markets where the song reached the top of the chart, not simultaneous No. 1 rankings across all 11.

YG also reported that the official music video took the top spot on a YouTube 24-hour most-viewed videos ranking. The figures show that the release found an audience outside South Korea even before TREASURE began its televised comeback stages.

How the new single fits TREASURE’s next chapter

“SHOCK” continues the sharper hip-hop direction introduced through TREASURE’s June mini-album NEW WAV. The new single draws on electronic textures, a rapid tempo and a forceful hook to create a different atmosphere from some of the group’s earlier releases.

YG’s official discography lists BIGTONE, EAST, Ned Houston, KOREANGROOVE and Hadar Adora among the songwriters. Its production credits also include YG, P.K and 2K, and it incorporates a musical interpolation from 1TYM’s “Hot.” That reference connects the song to the label’s own hip-hop history.

With the recorded track already available, the weekend shows shift attention to the performance itself: the group’s synchronization, the impact of its signature moves and how the vocals hold up alongside the choreography.

What is next for TREASURE?

YG has also mentioned appearances at major year-end events, including the Korea Grand Music Awards and MAMA Awards. The group plans to connect with fans through an offline campaign called a recharge station, with activities at music-show venues and support events for students preparing for entrance exams.

After this weekend, fans will have both the music video and two broadcast performances to compare, offering a fuller picture of how TREASURE intends to present “SHOCK” live.
