BLACKPINK
Four individual voices at the intersection of rap, pop hooks and large-scale performance.
Profile
BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016 with Square One, introducing JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA through “WHISTLE” and “BOOMBAYAH.” Their early releases established a contrast between sharply delivered rap, melodic vocals and dance-focused choruses.
The group’s catalog expanded through Square Up, The Album and Born Pink, then entered a new full-group chapter with the 2025 single “JUMP” and the 2026 mini album DEADLINE. DEADLINE includes “JUMP,” “GO,” “Me and my,” “Champion” and “Fxxxboy,” marking BLACKPINK’s first full-group album release in roughly four years. Their singles make useful listening landmarks: compare the debut energy of “BOOMBAYAH,” the sparse hook of “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” the dramatic build of “How You Like That,” and the harder electronic direction of the DEADLINE era.
BLACKPINK’s group career also runs alongside four separate solo careers. A solo release by one member is not automatically a BLACKPINK group release, and management for individual work can differ from arrangements for the group. The member pages below keep those histories distinct.
This profile is designed as a starting point rather than a live ranking. The video selection follows different stages of the group’s music, while the honors section identifies selected recognition without treating every nomination as a win.
