A2O LITE is a nine-member girl group launched by A2O Entertainment, a company led in music production by Lee Soo-man, whose previous career includes founding SM Entertainment. The lineup is YOUNG, HIMEKI, VORA, XILI, RADA, MERCI, AYUNE, OA and AIJING.

The group arrived in October 2026 as part of a simultaneous rollout with A2O SOUL, a separate fifteen-member boy group. The two acts performed at the WELCOME TO SOULITE showcase in Goyang, South Korea, on October 12. A2O LITE’s official NEON music video premiered that day, followed by the digital debut single at 6 p.m. KST on October 13.

NEON emphasizes layered vocal passages, sustained hooks, pronounced bass and coordinated choreography. The company uses the term Zalpha Pop to frame its approach to music by artists associated with Generation Z and Generation Alpha. Those concepts describe the agency’s intended musical identity; they should not be confused with independently defined chart genres.

The debut attracted attention after NEON reached No. 1 on Melon’s Top 100 on the evening of October 14, around 29 hours after its digital release. That was a historical peak, not a claim that the track remained No. 1 throughout the following days. Industry coverage also examined how established K-pop production choices contrasted with shorter songs tailored for social video platforms.

A2O LITE’s first week included an M Countdown television performance on October 15. Its nine-member formation and initial song are documented by the agency and mainstream music services; individual roles, independent solo releases and personal accounts are listed only on member pages when primary evidence exists.
