November 5, 2026 | K-POP News | South Korea · New Artist Debut
ADAP made their official Korean debut on November 5 with their first mini-album, ALL DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE. The six-member boy group released the four-track record at 6 p.m. Korea Standard Time, led by the upbeat title song “BUFFERING.”
Before their Korean debut, ADAP spent several months performing and meeting fans in Japan. The six members introduced their new album to the Korean press at Gabin Art Hall in Seoul’s Gangnam district on November 5.

Meet ADAP: Six members, one shared ambition
ADAP takes its name from the phrase All Dreams Are Possible, reflecting the six members’ hopes for the future. The group consists of HYOTAE, JUNSEOK, JAEYOUNG, DOWON, JONGHO and HYUNSUNG. They are signed to FCENM, the agency behind girl group ILY:1. Their debut adds another new act to Korea’s expanding K-pop landscape.
ADAP members: Birthdays, nationality and roles
All six ADAP members are South Korean. As of their November 5, 2026 debut, their ages range from 19 to 22. The birth dates below are drawn from publicly available member profiles. Roles are included only where listed by those sources and should not be treated as a complete set of officially assigned positions.
| Member | Date of birth | Age at debut | Nationality | Reported role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HYOTAE (효태) | June 22, 2004 | 22 | South Korean | Member |
| JUNSEOK (준석) | August 5, 2004 | 22 | South Korean | Leader, vocalist |
| JAEYOUNG (재영) | January 12, 2005 | 21 | South Korean | Member |
| DOWON (도원) | November 21, 2006 | 19 | South Korean | Dancer |
| JONGHO (종호) | July 24, 2007 | 19 | South Korean | Rapper |
| HYUNSUNG (현성) | November 2, 2007 | 19 | South Korean | Vocalist, youngest member |
HYOTAE is the oldest member of ADAP, having been born in June 2004. He previously appeared on the audition program Universe League. JUNSEOK, who was born a few weeks later, is the group’s leader and is also listed as a vocalist in independent profiles.
JAEYOUNG, born in January 2005, is another member with television competition experience. His appearance on Make Mate 1 gave viewers a chance to discover him before his debut. DOWON, born in November 2006, is known for his dancing, an important strength for a group introducing itself with a choreography-driven title track.
JONGHO, born in July 2007, is listed as a rapper, while HYUNSUNG, born on November 2, 2007, is the youngest member and a vocalist. HYUNSUNG turned 19 only three days before ADAP’s official Korean debut. For the group’s youngest member, the week brings two milestones: his birthday and his official Korean debut.
The lineup brings together different kinds of preparation. Some members have already appeared on televised audition programs; others built their experience through training and the group’s Japanese pre-debut appearances. Their backgrounds are different, but they now share the challenge of building a new group together.
At the November 5 press showcase, the members spoke about their excitement and nerves as they finally began their formal career in Korea. DOWON described the moment as the realization of a long-held dream. Rather than presenting themselves as seasoned stars, they emphasized how much they still want to learn onstage.
‘BUFFERING’ turns a crush into a playful pop song
The title song “BUFFERING” compares the awkwardness of meeting someone you like to a device that suddenly stops responding. The metaphor is simple and familiar: your thoughts freeze, the right words won’t come, and you suddenly don’t know what to say.
Musically, the track pairs a groovy bass line with brisk percussion and a chorus designed to be easy to remember. The lively arrangement keeps the song lighthearted, while the lyrics capture the nervous excitement of a first crush. It is an approachable debut track that also leaves room for a lively stage performance.
The group performed “BUFFERING” at their Seoul media showcase, wearing coordinated school-inspired outfits. The styling complements the youthful story of the song without overshadowing the members themselves.
Four tracks on ‘ALL DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE’
| Track | Musical direction | Main idea |
|---|---|---|
| BUFFERING | Groovy, upbeat pop | Freezing up in front of someone you like |
| DRUM | Dance-pop driven by changing percussion | The rising excitement of a new connection |
| PARADISE | Atmospheric pop and R&B with guitar textures | A dreamier, softer side of the group |
| Sing for you | Warm, melodic pop | An affectionate message delivered through the members’ vocals |
The four songs offer a deliberate mix of moods. “DRUM” follows the growing pulse of excitement with layered rhythmic changes. “PARADISE” slows things down with textured guitars and an airy pop-R&B sound, while “Sing for you” leans into melody and the members’ emotional delivery.
Taken together, the four songs introduce several sides of ADAP, from upbeat dance-pop to gentler, vocal-led moments.

Japanese pre-debut activities helped build their first fan base
Although November 5 marks ADAP’s official debut in Korea, it is not their first experience in front of a live audience. The group spent several months performing in Japan and holding fan events. According to the agency, those pre-debut appearances attracted a combined audience of more than 10,000 people.
That early experience may prove valuable as ADAP move into Korean music-show promotions. Performing regularly before their formal debut gave the members experience onstage and opportunities to interact with fans. Their next challenge is to build on that experience with music of their own.
A Seoul debut showcase and the next step
The group held a media showcase at Gabin Art Hall in Seoul on November 5 ahead of the album’s 6 p.m. release. A separate debut showcase for fans was also planned at the venue, giving selected supporters a chance to mark the milestone with the members.
ADAP plan to begin their Korean music-show promotions with “BUFFERING.” For a new group entering a crowded market, those first televised stages offer an important chance to introduce their sound, choreography and personalities.
FCENM presents the mini-album as the beginning of ADAP’s journey. The members now have four songs and their first Korean promotional stages to introduce themselves to a wider audience.
