ASTRO
A bright-pop identity that grew from youthful energy into polished pop, individual projects and a continuing four-member group chapter.
Profile
ASTRO is a South Korean pop group that debuted under Fantagio on February 23, 2016 with Spring Up. Their early releases established a bright, melodic sound that developed into the polished dance-pop of All Light, All Yours, Switch On and Drive to the Starry Road.
The lineup consists of MJ, JINJIN, CHA EUN-WOO and YOON SAN-HA. Originally a six-member group, ASTRO also includes ROCKY and MOONBIN in its debut history. ROCKY departed in 2023, and MOONBIN died in April that year.
“All Night,” “ONE,” “After Midnight” and “Candy Sugar Pop” trace the group’s progression from melodic pop to more expansive stage performances. The anniversary single “Twilight,” released on February 23, 2025, adds a reflective chapter to that catalog.
Alongside group recordings, the members pursue solo music, unit releases and other individual projects. ASTRO’s fandom is known as AROHA.
