BABYMONSTER’s Osaka Dome Finale to Be Released on Blu-ray and Live Album December 23

October 31, 2026 | K-POP News | Japan

BABYMONSTER’s landmark Kyocera Dome Osaka concerts are coming home on Blu-ray. Sony Music Japan announced on October 28 that the group’s September 23 performance will be released on December 23, 2026, alongside a live CD and a digital album. The release follows a Japanese tour that drew about 200,000 concertgoers.

A dome finale after 11 Japan concerts and 200,000 fans

BABYMONSTER’s 2026–27 WORLD TOUR [춤 (CHOOM)] IN JAPAN began in Kobe in July and traveled through Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba and Nagoya before reaching Osaka. It comprised 11 concerts across six cities and attracted approximately 200,000 attendees, according to YG Entertainment and Sony Music.

On September 22 and 23, BABYMONSTER played to approximately 45,000 fans each night at Kyocera Dome Osaka. Both shows sold out, according to YG Entertainment. It was the group’s first Japanese dome appearance, a milestone that gave the closing weekend a significance of its own.

The figures are worth keeping distinct: 200,000 across the entire Japan tour and 90,000 across the two Osaka nights. The upcoming Blu-ray focuses on September 23, the last night of the Japanese run.

Blu-ray editions, live album and the December 23 release date

The Blu-ray’s announced track list spans 26 performances, including the encores, with songs such as “WE GO UP,” “BATTER UP,” “DRIP,” “SHEESH” and “FOREVER.” The live CD contains 23 tracks, while the digital album is scheduled for the same release date. For fans who experienced the music from the stands, the two formats offer different ways to revisit the night.

Sony Music lists two limited-edition Blu-rays, BLACK Ver. and WHITE Ver., at ¥10,500 each, plus a ¥7,800 regular Blu-ray. The live CD is listed at ¥3,600. These are Japanese tax-inclusive list prices; availability and overseas shipping fees may differ by retailer.

The BLACK and WHITE limited editions each include a 48-page photo book with handwritten messages, a pouch, stickers, a poster, an acrylic keyring and a set of six trading cards. The colors and card designs differ between editions. Stores may also offer separate purchase bonuses, so it is worth checking the exact package before ordering.

Why the Kyocera Dome recording matters

Even fans who caught BABYMONSTER in Kobe or Nagoya haven’t seen this particular night in full. The Osaka recording brings together the songs, onstage moments and crowd reactions from the tour’s biggest Japanese venue. It is a more complete souvenir than the short clips shared after the shows.

Although the CHOOM tour continues beyond Japan, this release is centered on its Osaka finale. For BABYMONSTER, it marks the first time their Japanese dome debut will be available as an official concert recording.

BABYMONSTER also shared WORLD TOUR [춤 (CHOOM)] BEHIND in JAPAN #3 on October 21. It gives fans a look behind the scenes of the Japan tour, including Osaka-related moments. This is a behind-the-scenes video, not the September 23 concert recording. The finale was broadcast separately on WOWOW.
