K-ARTIST UPDATES · OCTOBER 20, 2026

Three BTS concerts are due to bring more than 150,000 fans to La Plata. With 8 p.m. showtimes, Anita B Queen’s 6:30 p.m. opening sets and official merchandise sales beginning October 20, visitors have several practical details to check before reaching the stadium.

La Plata is preparing for three BTS shows that will bring a huge international audience to Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona. Argentine local outlet 0221 expects more than 150,000 fans across the October 21, 23 and 24 concerts. That is a projection for the three-day event, not a verified turnstile total or a count from one night.

The city is already dealing with stadium construction, crowd barriers, accommodation demand and security logistics. For visitors, the most useful information is not the rumored stage set list. It is knowing when to arrive, which entry rules apply and where official goods can actually be bought.

The announced schedule for all three concert nights

According to 0221’s October 19 account of event arrangements, general admission gates open at 4:30 p.m. Argentine time, opener Anita B Queen takes the stage at 6:30 p.m., and BTS is scheduled for 8 p.m. These are local times, not Korea Standard Time.

VIP holders face an earlier schedule. The published plan provides VIP check-in from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Gate 8, near streets 21 and 530, followed by VIP entrance at 2:45 p.m. and soundcheck at 3:45 p.m. Fans arriving after the check-in period risk losing the special VIP experience, even if they still hold a concert ticket. Event rules can change, so ticket-holders should consult the current organiser’s instructions before travel.

Official merchandise begins before the first concert

HYBE’s official venue notice identifies an outside merchandise sales booth on Avenida 32. The booth is open October 20 and 22, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Argentine time, and on concert days October 21, 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., subject to stock and site conditions.

Importantly, an event ticket is not required for the official outside booth. Indoor sales areas are different: access is limited to ticket-holders admitted to the appropriate part of the stadium, including a VIP-only sales window. HYBE says merchandise transactions are made in Argentine pesos, cash and qualifying credit cards are accepted, and items may sell out early. Visitors should not expect a refund just because they change their mind.

City-wide demand brings practical challenges

0221’s rolling reports describe strong demand for accommodation and continued stadium preparations. More than 150,000 fans are expected over three dates, creating pressure on local transport and surrounding businesses. Early hotel sell-outs and construction updates are reported locally, but individual room availability and road restrictions may change from hour to hour.

Authorities and organisers have discouraged overnight camping around the venue. Reaching the stadium early is not the same thing as being allowed to camp outside it, and fans should follow formal queue systems rather than numbers issued by strangers.

What visitors should carry—and what to check again

Local event guidance identifies small bags, mobile phones and empty plastic water bottles of up to 500 milliliters among permitted items. Professional cameras, drones, fireworks, umbrellas and some larger objects appear on the prohibited list. A complete, updated policy from the organiser takes precedence over brief summaries in third-party articles.

The three La Plata concerts are scheduled rather than completed as of this October 20 draft. Their final set lists, weather impacts and exact turnout remain unknown. For the most reliable planning, check the official ticket confirmation, the concert organiser’s day-specific alerts and HYBE’s merchandise announcement before departing for the stadium.
