CHOWON is a key vocalist whose stable upper-register parts anchor LIGHTSUM’s melodies. She first became known to a larger audience through Produce 48 before debuting with LIGHTSUM in June 2021. Her singing remains an important element as the group explores Japanese-language material.

In 2026 she took part in the trio unit recording with SANGAH and JUHYEON, while continuing her main-vocal role in Re:idol. A group or unit track should not be mislabeled a solo single.

LIGHTSUM debuted on June 10, 2021 and reintroduced its six-member team through the 2026 documentary Re:Idol and Warner Music Japan’s mini-album Re:idol. Her work should be understood in the context of the group’s collective music and international activities.
