South Korean band · JYP Entertainment / Studio J · current lineup: SUNGJIN, Young K, WONPIL and DOWOON
Profile
DAY6 debuted under JYP Entertainment’s Studio J on September 7, 2015 with the EP The Day and “Congratulations.” The band built its identity around live performance and extensive member participation in songwriting and composition, later developing a catalog that moved between pop rock, alternative rock, ballad and arena-ready band music.
The current four-member lineup is SUNGJIN, Young K, WONPIL and DOWOON. After a long military-service and group-hiatus period, DAY6 returned as a quartet with Fourever in 2024 and entered a major resurgence period driven by “Welcome to the Show,” “HAPPY,” “Melt Down,” and renewed chart activity for older songs including “You Were Beautiful” and “Time of Our Life.”
In 2025 the band celebrated its 10th anniversary with the fourth studio album The DECADE, a stadium concert and anniversary tour. All four members renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment, and the tour continued into 2026 before concluding with three sold-out KSPO Dome finale concerts in July.
