DONGYEON (동연) is a vocalist and dance-focused performer in POW, the five-member group under GRID Entertainment. Born on September 26, 2003, he is associated with the team’s performance line and the choreography that accompanies its colorful, melody-driven songs. Dance is particularly important to POW’s identity because its records are designed to connect strong pop hooks with visually coordinated stage routines.

Across the group’s early releases, DONGYEON helped translate songs such as Favorite and Dazzling into live performance. POW later expanded its repertoire with Boyfriend, Valentine and the 2025 EP Being Tender, giving its members opportunities to express a broader emotional range through choreography rather than relying on a single debut image.

In interviews, DONGYEON has discussed the demanding nature of rehearsals and performance preparation. During the 2026 Flavor promotions, he described working with a frame-like prop as part of the group’s choreography and learning how to coordinate difficult movements with the other members. This kind of practical experience illustrates the physical and collaborative work behind a polished K-pop stage.

He has also acknowledged the reassurance provided by teammates and the group’s fandom POWER. His documented individual activities are chiefly dance, vocal performance, interviews and group promotions; no verified independent solo single or album is attributed to him in this profile.
