ENHYPEN’s JAY and NI-KI are heading to Yamanashi for a Japanese TV special of their own. The two will appear together in ENHYPEN JAY & NI-KI no Kyūjitsu Journey (ENHYPEN JAY&NI-KIの休日ジャーニー), airing on TV Asahi at midnight on November 15, 2026 (listed as November 14 at 24:00 JST). Their first Japanese television special as a duo follows a day of sightseeing, local food and time together away from the concert stage.
The half-hour show is both a first for the pair and a chance for fans to see how they spend time together without the rest of the group. The destination is Yamanashi Prefecture, known for its views of Mount Fuji and regional food.

A trip built around the things JAY and NI-KI wanted to try
Producers asked JAY and NI-KI what they wanted to do in Japan, then put together a day trip based on their answers. The route takes them to scenic areas around Mount Fuji and gives them time to explore Japanese culture at a more relaxed pace.
Along the way, they sample Yamanashi specialties, ride in a rickshaw and try a traditional Japanese experience JAY had been hoping for. They also pick out souvenirs for their fellow ENHYPEN members. The focus is less on performance and more on how the two react to the places they visit.
The food stops are part of the same journey, rather than a separate program or announcement. TV Asahi has not published the complete route or named every restaurant, so the exact filming locations have yet to be confirmed.

Why a JAY and NI-KI trip feels personal
The program also draws on the friendship the two members have developed over the years. NI-KI moved from Japan to South Korea as a young teenager, while JAY often used Japanese to communicate with him. Japanese publicity recalls that JAY once invited NI-KI to spend a Lunar New Year holiday with his family when NI-KI would otherwise have been on his own in Korea.
The trip also puts their long friendship at the center of the program. Although they have appeared on television as ENHYPEN members before, this is their first Japanese special featuring just the two of them. NI-KI had never visited Yamanashi, while JAY saw the trip as a chance to use the Japanese he has been studying.
In comments accompanying the announcement, JAY said the natural surroundings helped him feel at ease. NI-KI called the trip refreshing and said he was glad to discover somewhere new in Japan. Both described the experience as a welcome break from their usual schedule.

From sightseeing to a villa barbecue
The day ends at a villa, where JAY and NI-KI enjoy a barbecue and campfire before settling into a conversation together. After the sightseeing and food stops, that quieter closing scene promises a closer look at their friendship.
After the 30-minute TV broadcast, TELASA plans to stream additional original material, including scenes that did not make it into the television edit and further conversation segments. The extra footage is described as streaming content, not another TV Asahi episode.

The TV Asahi program page carries official broadcast information. TELASA lists the series at its official viewing page. No unrelated ENHYPEN music video is being presented here as footage from this travel special.
A different side of ENHYPEN in Japan
Holiday Journey offers a different view of two performers usually seen in carefully staged shows. By following JAY and NI-KI through Yamanashi—from local food to souvenir shopping and an evening by the fire—it puts their easy conversation and shared experiences in the spotlight.
