Profile

FTISLAND is a South Korean rock band that debuted on June 7, 2007 with the album Cheerful Sensibility. The current trio consists of lead vocalist Lee Honggi, bassist and vocalist Lee Jaejin, and drummer Choi Minhwan. Under FNC Entertainment, the band has developed a signature mix of guitar-driven rock, emotional ballads and energetic live concerts.

The group has an extensive Korean and Japanese discography. Its recent recording activity includes Sage (2023), Serious (2024), Instinct (2025) and the September 2026 Japanese single Lemonade. More recent recordings include the September 30, 2026 single “Like The First Day” (처음 그 날처럼), arranged and performed by the band, and the October 2, 2026 single “Your Island” (너란 섬), released as the theme song for the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo. Members Honggi, Jaejin and Minhwan have each issued independent solo recordings; their individually credited albums and singles are separate from FTISLAND group projects.

The band became widely known through its debut song Love Sick in 2007, followed by favorites such as I Hope, Hello Hello and Severely. Its 2015 album I Will marked a heavier rock direction with PRAY, while Wind led the 2017 tenth-anniversary album OVER 10 YEARS. These older recordings document earlier band lineups and are not presented as recordings by the current three-member lineup.

FTISLAND remains active across South Korea and Japan, combining studio recordings with full-band tours. Lee Honggi, Lee Jaejin and Choi Minhwan have also released separately credited solo music; individual singles are distinguished from FTISLAND albums, live stages and drama soundtracks throughout their member profiles.
