ILLIT Debuts ‘I Will Arrest You’ Live at Incheon Encore Ahead of BREAK EVEN

ILLIT gave fans a complete onstage preview of their upcoming title song, known in Korean as ‘체포하겠어,’ during the October 17–18 PRESS START encore shows at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon.

ILLIT surprised audiences at its ILLIT LIVE ‘PRESS START♥’ ENCORE in KOREA concerts at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon on October 17 and 18, 2026 by performing a complete version of the upcoming title song ‘체포하겠어’ (rendered in some English-language coverage as I Will Arrest You).

The song is part of ILLIT’s fifth mini-album BREAK EVEN, scheduled for release on October 26 at 6 p.m. KST. The full performance ahead of the album launch is noteworthy, but it does not mean the studio recording or official music video was released on the concert dates.

What happened onstage?

Contemporary English-language concert coverage describes a first complete performance of the title track, with tight choreography using whistle props. The second evening reportedly brought a stronger audience response as fans followed the point choreography and used whistles of their own.

The encore also included songs such as paw, paw!, ICONIC BY MISTAKE, I Got Your Back (Korean Ver.) and Scrum, extending the shows beyond a presentation of familiar hits. The official Weverse notices independently confirm the INSPIRE Arena venue and the two encore dates, and pre-release album pickup arrangements were available at the concert.

Performance premiere versus music release

A live performance premiere is an unusual moment for listeners: fans hear the complete song as a stage piece before they have the standard studio master in their streaming libraries. Choreography, staging and audience participation can shape a first impression, but details about official recorded credits, music video editing and post-release chart performance require separate evidence.

Here, the distinction is especially clear. October 17–18 are the encore performance dates; October 26 is the scheduled BREAK EVEN release date. That makes the debut stage a preview, not an early digital launch.

Where the encore fits in the wider tour

ILLIT’s official schedule places the Korean encore after an Asia tour that ran from spring through summer. Further encore performances are planned for December 23, 24, 26 and 27 at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Japan. Concert timing and album promotion therefore overlap, but they should not be conflated.

For GLLIT, the live first performance creates a useful point of comparison for October 26: listeners will be able to compare the live arrangement and whistle-centered stage with the eventual official recording. Until then, views, streaming records or critical judgments about an unreleased official MV should not be stated as confirmed facts.
