LEE CHANHYUK is a singer, songwriter and producer best known as one half of the sibling duo AKMU. Since the duo’s 2014 debut, his writing and production have shaped much of AKMU’s catalog, from acoustic-pop material to increasingly experimental arrangements.

Alongside AKMU, he has developed a separate solo discography. His second studio album EROS arrived in July 2025 and included “Endangered Love,” extending the theatrical and conceptual approach of his earlier solo work.

In January 2026, AKMU’s exclusive contract with YG Entertainment ended and the duo’s community and activities transferred to Cemter of Inspiration. CHANHYUK then wrote, composed and produced the material on AKMU’s fourth studio album FLOWERING, released on April 7, 2026.
