MONSTA X
Six-member STARSHIP Entertainment group with more than a decade of performance-driven K-pop, returning in 2026 with a world tour, the English album Unfold and Korean EP The Phase.
Profile
MONSTA X debuted under STARSHIP Entertainment on May 14, 2015 with Trespass. The current official six-member lineup is SHOWNU, MINHYUK, KIHYUN, HYUNGWON, JOOHONEY and I.M.
The group built its international identity through high-intensity Korean releases, English-language albums and extensive touring. Albums including All About Luv, The Dreaming, REASON, THE X and the 2026 English album Unfold broadened its sound from hip-hop and electronic production into pop, R&B and ballad territory.
MONSTA X launched the 2026 world tour THE X : NEXUS in Seoul in January. I.M enlisted for mandatory military service in February 2026, so subsequent tour dates and the September Korean comeback are being carried by SHOWNU, MINHYUK, KIHYUN, HYUNGWON and JOOHONEY.
On September 4, 2026, MONSTA X released the mini album The Phase, led by “MAGIC.” JOOHONEY contributed writing and production to multiple tracks, while HYUNGWON contributed the closing song “Sweet Night, Sweet Morning.”
