YIHYUN (Jo Yi-hyun) is the leader and main vocalist of Baby DONT Cry. Before her June 2025 idol debut, she appeared in youth television and music programming and worked as a child model. Her early on-camera experience helped her move into the group’s leadership and live performance roles.

Her January 2026 appointment as an SBS Inkigayo host placed her alongside SHINYU of TWS and EJ of &TEAM. SBS reported that she had previously appeared as a special presenter. This is a documented individual broadcasting activity, separate from the group’s music releases.

On April 21, 2026, she performed the ending theme 내일의 발걸음 (Pokémon: Rising Again ending theme) for the animated series Pokémon: Rising Again. It was credited to Yihyun individually within the jointly released soundtrack album and was not a separately issued stand-alone solo album. This is a verified individual vocal credit, not a Baby DONT Cry group song.

At the March 2026 AFTER CRY showcase, Yihyun discussed how difficult memories could become sources of growth. Her comments brought the album’s narrative of recovery and resilience into focus. Alongside her own activities, she continues to promote with Kumi, Mia and Beni.
