Profile
Yves (이브), whose birth name is Ha Soo-young (하수영), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer. Her solo music crosses electronic pop, alternative R&B and club-influenced production, moving between moments of vulnerability and confidence. She works with the independent label PAIX PER MIL.
Yves was introduced through the pre-debut project of LOONA in November 2017, later performing with the full group and LOONA yyxy. Her independent solo career is a separate chapter: she launched her first EP under PAIX PER MIL, LOOP, on May 29, 2024. Featuring Lil Cherry on the title track, the four-song EP announced her interest in taking unexpected musical routes.
A second EP, I Did, followed in November 2024 and included Viola. With Soft Error in August 2025, Yves expanded her network of collaborators, working with PinkPantheress on Soap. The following year she released her fourth solo EP, NAIL (April 17, 2026), featuring Lolo Zouaï on the title track and Lexie Liu on Break It. Overseas interviews have described the independence she has developed since leaving LOONA.
Her newest released single, Hysteric / Adam, arrived on October 27, 2026. Hysteric explores anxiety through a dance-oriented sound, while Adam, which includes a lyric credit for Yves, reflects on the feelings that remain afterwards. The next EP, Cute & Anxiety, is scheduled for November 20, 2026 and is clearly marked as forthcoming rather than released.
During 2026, Yves continued performing for audiences in Europe and the Americas. Features in NME, LADYGUNN and Office Magazine trace her growth as an independent singer and discuss her songwriting, artistic freedom and collaborations. Awards and releases earned by LOONA as a group are not counted as her own solo achievements.
