YERI joined Red Velvet in 2015 for the Ice Cream Cake era. She is the youngest member of the five-member lineup, but she was not part of the original four-member Happiness debut in 2014. Keeping those dates separate makes the group’s formation history clearer.

Her individually credited music includes Dear Diary, released through SM STATION in March 2019. It is a solo digital single rather than a full independent solo album campaign. Acting work under her name Kim Yerim forms another part of her career.

She moved her individual management to Blitzway Entertainment in 2025 while remaining a member of Red Velvet. Her agency’s artist page records that acting identity alongside her 2015 group debut. Full-group releases and her own acting or music credits are therefore presented as connected but distinct activities.
