K-ARTIST UPDATES · OCTOBER 20, 2026
A runway is not the most obvious home for a full-pop performance. KATSEYE made it theirs at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18, performing ‘PINKY UP’ and ‘Animal’ while fashion and music unfolded on the same floor.

The October 18, 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles with four women-led musical acts. KATSEYE shared the bill with Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion and Megan Moroney, a lineup that put emerging global pop alongside established American stars.
KATSEYE entered from the audience seating area rather than waiting for an ordinary stage introduction. As the members moved toward the runway, the show became a meeting point between choreography and the models’ walk. The group’s Japanese record label, Universal Music Japan, confirmed on October 20 that the two-song set featured ‘PINKY UP’ and ‘Animal’, both from the EP WILD.
When the runway becomes part of the choreography
Fashion shows often use a singer as an accompaniment to the clothes. The more interesting part of KATSEYE’s appearance was how the performers and models occupied the same visual space. The members’ movement from the audience into the runway helped turn a set that could have looked like a separate concert into a sequence connected to the show’s presentation.
The production’s youth-oriented PINK segment provided a particularly natural setting for the group’s bright styling and coordinated dancing. In a show designed around seasonal looks and the revived Victoria’s Secret runway format, music was not simply background sound. A short appearance still had to work as a performance for the people watching online, not just those with a seat in Los Angeles.
Two tracks from the same chapter of KATSEYE’s career
Both songs come from WILD, making the set feel like a snapshot of the group’s current musical direction rather than a retrospective. ‘PINKY UP’ brings a playful attitude; ‘Animal’ supplies a more forceful counterpart. Placing the tracks together gave viewers two different sides of the EP without demanding a lengthy introduction to the group.
It was also an opportunity to reach fashion audiences who may know the event’s models and designers better than K-pop’s music releases. For a globally assembled group such as KATSEYE, a fashion-show stage is another route into pop culture outside the usual music-show circuit.
A shared stage with established names
Megan Thee Stallion and Tate McRae have different performance styles from KATSEYE, while Megan Moroney represents another strand of American music. Their presence on the same billing gives the programme a cross-genre character. However, appearing at one event does not mean the artists recorded a collaboration or performed together; the announcement identifies them as separate musical acts.
