UNCHILD are set to return today, November 5, with their second digital single, TiNG TiNG, scheduled to arrive at 6 p.m. Korea Standard Time. Seven months after their April debut, the six-member girl group are back with a playful new sound and a superhero story that celebrates being different.
The comeback was originally set for September 2 but was postponed in August. HIGHUP Entertainment later confirmed the November 5 date and began introducing the two-track release through concept photos, performance clips and music-video teasers.

A French house title track with a playful edge
“TiNG TiNG” draws on French house, a dance-music style built around repeating grooves and propulsive rhythms. According to HIGHUP, the track combines looping beats, heavy kicks, metallic synths and clipped electronic effects. Its repeated title phrase gives the song an instantly recognizable hook.
That playful production suits the group’s message. Instead of hiding their differences, the members approach the challenges around them with curiosity and confidence. It is a continuation of the offbeat identity UNCHILD introduced at their debut, now told through a more elaborate visual concept.
This time, the group’s frog mascot has taken a mischievous turn. The brighter “poison frog” imagery adds an eccentric streak to a campaign that combines superhero costumes, imaginary tools and a digital world seemingly breaking apart.
Two tracks, two sides of UNCHILD
| Track | Role | Sound |
|---|---|---|
| TiNG TiNG | Title track | French house; looping beats and synthetic textures |
| TRICKY GRLS | B-side | Deep house; dynamic choreography |
The second song, “TRICKY GRLS,” explores a slightly different mood. Built on deep-house rhythms, it captures the excitement of becoming absorbed in a new interest. With its shifting textures and energetic choreography, the song gives the group room to show a different side of their performance style.
Fans have already seen the B-side performed. UNCHILD shared a complete performance video in late October, offering an early look at its synchronized choreography and futuristic silver styling. Together, the songs put rhythm and performance at the center of UNCHILD’s first comeback.
Poison frogs, blue glitches and an oddball hero story
A pair of music-video teasers released on October 28 and November 3 introduce an imaginative adventure set in Seoul. In one sequence, suspicious frogs gather around computers beneath the city and unleash a mysterious digital glitch. Soon, blue distortions begin spreading into everyday spaces.
The members respond as unconventional heroes, each equipped with an improbable gadget. The campaign has introduced tools with names such as “COLOR BLASTER,” “RECORDER CAMERA” and “SCOUTER.” Rather than striving for a polished, traditional superhero look, the group leans into humor, mismatched textures and unexpected details.
The story does not take itself too seriously, and that is part of its appeal. Across the teasers and concept photos, the group keeps returning to a simple idea: there is nothing wrong with being a little strange.
A 50-person flash mob builds anticipation
The promotional rollout has not stayed entirely online. On November 1, UNCHILD appeared at MBC Culture Square in Sangam, Seoul, for a flash mob involving roughly 50 performers. A dancer dressed as a frog opened the event before the number of performers grew into a large synchronized routine.
The flash mob offered an early look at the title track’s choreography. It also echoed the frog-themed street promotions that accompanied UNCHILD’s debut earlier this year.
