Hong Hye-ju (홍혜주), known as HYEJU, is CLASSy’s leader, main dancer and lead rapper. She was selected for the final group through MBC’s My Teenage Girl and debuted on May 5, 2022.

HYEJU’s work is closely associated with the group’s performance identity. As a leader and dancer, she helps give the seven-member choreography a strong rhythmic focus, while her rap passages add contrast to the vocal lines. The combination of leadership and performance responsibilities distinguishes her role within CLASSy.

For the June 2026 comeback RE:BOOT [AFTER TEARS], HYEJU recorded Spinning Coin with guest rapper Xitsuh. An official solo clip allows the song to stand apart from the group’s title-track performances. She also presented the song at Waterbomb Busan in 2026, extending her individual performance work beyond the album. The track remains part of the CLASSy release rather than an independent solo album.
