Korea Spotlight returned to Ho Chi Minh City on October 31 for a sold-out concert that drew around 1,600 people. ONF, FTISLAND, KIIRAS, Minsu and g0nny shared the Capital Theatre stage, bringing everything from polished idol performances to live rock and R&B.
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) confirmed the sellout and attendance figure in its November 4 wrap-up of the two-day event. Beyond the concert, the two-day program gave Korean music companies a chance to meet Vietnamese industry partners through interviews, discussions and business meetings.

Five acts, one sold-out night at Capital Theatre
The showcase was held at Capital Theatre, 212 Lý Chính Thắng, Ho Chi Minh City. Instead of focusing only on idol groups, the organizers put together a lineup that reflected several sides of Korean popular music.
ONF brought the vocal harmonies and choreography familiar to their fans, while FTISLAND offered a rock-band sound. KIIRAS, Minsu and g0nny gave the evening an even broader mix of styles.
The official 1Zone ticketing page is marked “Sold Out,” matching KOCCA’s post-event announcement. The agency counted approximately 1,600 people at the showcase, including fans and music-industry attendees. The figure refers to attendance at the event, not a separate count of tickets sold.

The business conversations behind the concert
Korea Spotlight was not only about the audience in front of the stage. On October 30, the event also brought Korean and Vietnamese music professionals together through the Korea–Vietnam Content Connect program. The agenda included networking sessions, local media interviews and conversations about how artists can reach overseas listeners.
According to KOCCA, 19 Korean music companies took part in 102 business consultations during the visit. Participants included FNC Entertainment, AOMG, MPMG Music, Jellyfish Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment, alongside Vietnamese music and media businesses such as DatVietVAC, Zing MP3 and DAO Music Entertainment.
The 102 consultations were business discussions, not 102 signed deals. Still, they show why KOCCA organizes industry meetings alongside its public concerts.

A wider picture of Korean music in Vietnam
The October 30 industry forum explored the Korean and Vietnamese music markets, the role of fandoms and the business potential of intellectual property. Vietnamese artists Vu Thanh Van, VSTRA and Tlinh also contributed their perspectives on working in the local market.
Korean music has more to offer overseas audiences than the biggest idol hits. By bringing established bands, solo singers and newer groups to the same stage, the showcase gave Vietnamese fans a chance to hear a wider range of artists.
