Profile
Moon Byul is the stage name of Moon Byulyi, a rapper, singer and songwriter who debuted with MAMAMOO in 2014. Her individual work brings her lower vocal register and melodic singing into focus alongside the rap parts familiar from the group’s recordings.
Selfish introduced her solo debut in 2018. Dark Side of the Moon explored a more dramatic direction, while 6equence arranged its songs around a relationship narrative. Starlit of Muse, her first full-length solo album, brought these different sides together through material including Think About and TOUCHIN&MOVIN.
Her collaborations with Solar as MAMAMOO+ form another strand of her work. On her personal channel moonbyul2da, viewers can also explore content built around her own personality and interests. The solo videos below focus on her individual music.
Her later activities include the Japanese single Aurora, the releases ICY BBY and laundri, and the digital single S.O.S in 2025. Her official RBW Japan biography also documents fan concerts and the MUSEUM : village of eternal glow concert tour.
