WENDY is a vocalist in Red Velvet and an original member of its 2014 lineup. Her singing is central to the group’s harmonies, while solo records, soundtrack work and broadcasting form additional parts of her career.

She made her independent solo debut with Like Water in April 2021 and followed it with Wish You Hell in March 2024. Those solo releases sit alongside, rather than replace, her Red Velvet work.

In 2025 her individual management moved from SM Entertainment to ASND. She remained a member of Red Velvet, with group activities continuing separately. This distinction matters when reading agency information: a change in her personal contract did not turn the five-member group into a four-member act.

The shared group discography is available on the Red Velvet profile. Her own page focuses on individually credited music and preserves a clear route back to the group.
