YEJI is ITZY’s leader and a performer whose work connects the group’s choreography with its vocal identity. She debuted with all five members in February 2019, following appearances that brought attention to her performance skills before the group’s launch. Her leadership belongs to a team whose members bring contrasting tones and personalities to the same stage.

Her first independent solo mini album, AIR, arrived on March 10, 2025, with the title track Air. That release is distinct from Crown On My Head, her individual song on ITZY’s BORN TO BE, and Pocket, included on the 2026 group album Motto. The difference matters: all three feature her voice, but they occupy different places in the catalogue.

Within ITZY, her career continues through group records, world tours and the five members’ 2025 contract renewal. This profile keeps those shared milestones alongside her individual releases without treating group awards as personal solo honours.
