Korea Spotlight is coming back to Barcelona on November 19. This year’s lineup brings four Korean acts — from K-pop to R&B — to the Razzmatazz stage. BIBI, Billlie, SOYOU and oceanfromtheblue have been confirmed for the showcase, which is organized through the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
On November 4, local outlet Metrópoli looked at why the organizers chose Barcelona for a second year: a strong network of concert venues and promoters, music-industry connections and a growing audience for Korean artists. The lineup had already been announced; the latest report focuses on the city behind the show.
Why the showcase is returning to Barcelona
Speaking to Metrópoli, the organizers pointed to Barcelona’s active live-music scene and connections within the industry. For visiting Korean acts, that means a chance to meet local professionals as well as perform for fans.
Organizers said the 2025 edition had been well received. Coming back allows them to build on relationships formed last year. Other Spanish cities may be considered in the future, but no additional dates have been confirmed for 2026.
The showcase is part of Korea Spotlight’s international program, which introduces Korean musicians to new audiences while creating opportunities for industry connections.
From BIBI to Billlie: a lineup with range
BIBI brings her mix of alternative R&B, hip-hop and pop storytelling. Her solo career has taken her to international festival stages, and her catalog includes the widely recognized “Bam Yang Gang.”
Billlie returns after appearing at the 2025 edition. Known for ambitious concepts and unexpected shifts in sound, the group adds a different kind of energy to a lineup that also includes established solo voices.
SOYOU, who first became known as a member of SISTAR, brings a warm, expressive vocal style shaped by solo releases, collaborations and soundtrack work. oceanfromtheblue rounds out the bill with an intimate strain of Korean R&B that he has described through his own “Luv-fi” approach.
That variety gives the audience something beyond a standard K-pop set. Fans can move between Billlie’s group performances, SOYOU’s vocals and the more intimate sounds of BIBI and oceanfromtheblue in one evening.
Korea Spotlight Barcelona 2026: date, tickets and venue
The concert takes place on Thursday, November 19, 2026 in Razzmatazz Room 1, Carrer dels Almogàvers 122, Barcelona. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. CET and performances are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., according to the venue’s official listing.
Advance tickets are priced at €10 including fees through Vivaticket. Metrópoli reported on November 4 that the show was close to capacity, though it did not confirm a sellout. Fans should check the ticketing page for current availability.
